Aleve (naproxen) "I've been diagnosed with costochondritis for 2 yrs now. I have other joint issues, along with military neck and tendinitis. Nothing has worked as well and effectively as Aleve. I take anywhere from 220-500mg when needed. All my aches and pains subside and I can move about freely. Even with nerve damage. I am so thankful for Aleve!"

Flanax Pain Reliever (naproxen) "I have had costochondritis for two months now. I have found that my body best responds to naproxen and toradol/ ketorolac. These have both been prescribed to me after my success with Flanax (Naproxen)."

"Script completely cured me of costochondritis after almost a year of tests, being misdiagnosed, and doctors guessing. No side effects since I took it after breakfast and dinner daily... 12 hrs apart."

"Have had fits with costochondritis over the past couple years, always took ibuprofen or Advil and just rode through the pain, but finally looked into and tried naproxen, and it immediately took all of my pain away. Seeing lots of costochondritis patients say naproxen works best for them, and that's certainly true for me, although it definitely raises my blood pressure a bit."

Aleve (naproxen) "Been taking 800 mg of Ibuprofen three times a day for 12 days per docs order with little relief for Chostocondritis and back pain. Getting pretty bummed out so decided to try Aleve (not generic - the time release isn't the same) and within hours had relief. Finally able to sit comfortably!"

"I've been incredibly unlucky having costochondritis for about 3 ½ years now. After Dr's dismissing me for years and chalking it up to anxiety (what a joke), I was told I have costochondritis and was given Naproxen. I would say it works maybe 50% of the time for me. When I have really bad episodes, or feel like I'm about to have one, I take one 500mg. At first, I thought it was helping but now I wonder if it's working at all and maybe just giving a placebo effect."

"Always have Naproxen on hand. I suffer from Ankylosing Spondylitis which is relieved by following a low-starch diet but I still get Costochondritis originally caused by taking iboprufen (horrible drug). I never have any side effects with naproxen - my go to wonder drug for inflammation - great for menstrual pain too. Live in Uk (where prescriptions are NOT free unless you are on benefits or elderly) and don't like going to my GP where I’m only giving 250mg so I buy them online"

"I've had Costochronditis for several years now (on and off) and ibuprofen has always got rid of the pain, until 24th Feb 2022. The pain lasted for over a week and I had to call the doctor as I couldn't even sleep for more than two hours at a time it was that painful. He prescribed me naproxen (never taken them before) said they might have side effects but I've never had side effects from any medication. I took one tablet along with omeprazole and the pain is actually getting easier to manage. The omeprazole was to prevent ulcers in this stomach as naproxen does this also the stomach can get a bleed and all sorts of stuff can happen through taking naproxen. I live in the uk so never paid for this prescription"
